April 21, Minsk. The new owner of a house in the city of Burton upon Trent in the UK told an interesting story that happened to him during the renovation. About it writes the publication UPI.

A man and his pregnant wife decided to convert one of the rooms into a nursery. The husband began to take out the trash and move the furniture when something unusual caught his eye. Behind the furniture was a yellowed letter.

It turned out that the British find was a real message from the past from a 14-year-old girl named Deborah Stokes. She lived here 30 years ago, and when she moved, she decided to leave a message for the future owners of the house.

In the letter, the girl wrote about the events that took place in 1982, and mentioned the prices for milk and bread. She also talked about her favorite bands, Haircut One Hundred and The Boomtown Rats. "I hope that by the time you see this letter, the world will be a better place. I like to think it will be," Deborah ended her message.

The new owner of the house published a photo of the letter online, and a few days later the author of the letter was found, and the post itself instantly gathered a huge number of likes.
