The Tyumen region will host a regional "Field Day"

The regional agricultural event "Field Day" will be held in the Tyumen region on August 03. This year, the traditional exhibition-demonstration will take place in the open air on the basis of Agrofirma KRIMM LLC in the Uporovsky district. A very rich program awaits all specialists and guests of the meeting.
One of the most interesting parts is the inspection of experimental plots. They were prepared by farmers in the spring. Then, with the participation of researchers, more than 60 varieties and hybrids of agricultural crops were sown on 2 hectares at once under the same conditions. Among them are oats, barley, wheat, peas, soybeans and rapeseed. At the same time, more than 20 varieties presented are of Tyumen selection. As professionals note, variety research experiments have an important goal - to identify the most valuable varieties and hybrids in terms of productivity, resistance to diseases and pests, product quality, and other characteristics. Special plots are being prepared for experimental work. Moreover, all conditions on them must be identical, sowing is carried out simultaneously with the same number of rows. Work on the care of experimental plants should also be carried out on all plots in the same way and at the same time. Today, agronomists already see the reaction of one or another variety to various growth conditions and are ready to conduct a presentation of demonstration crops in the field.
No less interesting promises to be a field demonstration of equipment in operation and an inspection of a static exposition of agricultural equipment. As part of the "Field Day" this year, the exhibition will present: tractors, combine harvesters, tillage and sowing machines and other equipment used in agricultural production. At the same time, it will not be easy to inspect them externally. In a short time, all technological operations of field work, including tillage and sowing, will be carried out on demonstration equipment right on the site of the event.
In addition, the participants will have a rich seminar-meeting dedicated to the culture of agriculture, acquaintance with the TechnoCenter of Agrofirma KRIMM LLC and a plant for deep processing of potatoes and vegetables.
"Field Day" is an effective platform where different specialists can communicate. The event contributes to the development of the agro-industrial complex of the region, helping to establish interaction, promote innovative projects and new technologies, and make deals.
