Farmers in the region are completing the harvest . In total, spring grains are planted on an area of ​​94.6 thousand hectares in the region.
“In the Moscow region , spring grains were harvested on an area of ​​84 thousand hectares, which is 90% of the plan. The gross harvest amounted to about 300 thousand tons, which is 10 thousand tons more than last year. The average yield is 35.6 c/ha,” said Georgy Filimonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, who supervises the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
In particular, wheat was harvested on an area of ​​38.5 thousand hectares, or 92% of the plan of 42 thousand hectares. The gross harvest amounted to 147.7 thousand tons, with an average yield of 38.4 c/ha.
Barley has been harvested in full from an area of ​​39 thousand hectares. The gross harvest amounted to 133 thousand tons, which is 13.5 thousand tons more than in the same period last year.
Also, spring triticale was completely harvested on an area of ​​0.7 thousand hectares or 100% of the plan. The gross harvest amounted to 2.4 thousand tons, with an average yield of 34.6 c/ha.
Oats were harvested on an area of ​​5.6 thousand hectares or 97% of the plan. The gross harvest amounted to 15.9 thousand tons, with an average yield of 28.2 c/ha.
Other spring grain crops were harvested on an area of ​​0.2 thousand hectares, which amounted to 59% of the plan. The gross harvest amounted to 0.2 thousand tons, with an average yield of 10.3 c/ha.
