
In Podolsk, near Moscow, the craft family cheese factory “Private Cheese Factory No. 1” produces various types of cheeses from cow and goat milk.
“The region occupies a leading position in the country in terms of cheese production and is developing capacity. Today, in the Moscow region , many cheeses are produced in different price segments: from economy to premium. However, in terms of taste, the products are not inferior to world analogues. The family cheese factory makes natural cheeses from milk of the highest category, without synthetic additives or impurities. The enterprise processes up to 0.5 tons of milk per shift, and produces more than 30 types of cheese,” said Georgy Filimonov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region, who supervises the Ministry of Agriculture and Food.
All products are made from selected milk of the highest category from producers near Moscow. Milk from different farms is used to produce each type of cheese .
Cheese makers take the recipe of classic cheeses as a basis and adapt the technology in accordance with the characteristics and properties of milk. Due to the author's approach, the product acquires a unique taste.
The product line includes such cheeses as: “Stilton Berg”, “Gouda with truffle”, “Drunken Bull”, “Brush de Cherme”, “Jaarlsberg”, as well as “Gorgonzola”, “Brie”, “Haloumi”, “Feta” and others.
The products are supplied to restaurants and also sold in farm stores and marketplaces.
The family-owned cheese factory plans to launch its line of dairy products in September.
