Lipetsk farmers purchased agricultural machinery for almost 6 billion rubles in 2021

Despite the difficult weather conditions that prevailed in 2021 for most crops, the gross harvest for some of them exceeded the 2020 level. Not the last role in this was played by high-performance equipment that works in the fields of the region.

Active renewal of the engineering and technical park is one of the main components of the success of Lipetsk agricultural enterprises. In 2021, the region's farmers purchased new agricultural machinery and specialized equipment for a record 5 billion 977 million rubles. In total, 901 units of agricultural machinery were purchased during the year. This is 15.5% (56 units) more than a year earlier.

“Achieving high results in the crop production industry is impossible without purchasing new high-performance equipment and using the achievements of scientific and technological progress,” said Oleg Dolgikh, HEAD of the Lipetsk Region Agriculture Department.

Tractors were the most in demand: 185 of them were purchased, which exceeds the level of last year by more than 40%. The machine and tractor fleet of agricultural enterprises of the region in 2021 was also replenished with 2 beet harvesters, 5 forage harvesters and 114 grain harvesters, as well as 595 units of other agricultural machinery. The energy supply of agricultural enterprises of the region per 100 hectares of sown area in terms of the total nominal power of self-propelled machines amounted to 188 horsepower.

An important role in the modernization of the agro-industrial complex of the region is played by the support provided by the state, and, in particular, the acquisition of equipment under preferential leasing programs. Thus, in 2021, through JSC Rosagroleasing, 150 units of agricultural machinery were purchased in the amount of 850.2 million rubles.

According to Oleg Dolgikh, the enterprises of the region will continue to actively update their machine and tractor fleet this year, relying on the most advanced equipment.
