
Agrarians of the Republic of Bashkortostan last week started harvesting in parallel with forage harvesting, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus - Minister of Agriculture Ilshat Fazrakhmanov noted at an operational meeting of the Government of the Republic today, August 8.
“We expect to harvest about 4 million tons of grain, which is almost twice as much as last year,” he said. “We have to harvest 2 million 462 thousand hectares of agricultural crops, including 1 million 759 thousand hectares of cereals and legumes and 480 thousand hectares of industrial crops.”
For the most part, winter rye and wheat, spring barley and peas are harvested in the regions. In total, the farms mowed 138.7 thousand hectares, or more than 6% of the area, the total gross harvest amounted to 240 thousand tons. Including winter crops - 120 thousand tons. The average yield of winter grain crops exceeds 31 centners/ha, spring grains - 32 centners/ha.
The leaders in grain threshing are the farms of Sterlitamak (25.2 thousand tons), Buraevsky (20.3 thousand tons), Karmaskaly (14.9 thousand tons) districts. According to the yield of winter crops, Aurgazinsky (53.1 centner/ha), Sterlitamaksky (50.4 centner/ha), Tuymazinsky (44.8 centner/ha), Buzdyaksky (42.9 centner/ha), Ishimbaysky (40.0 centner/ha) and Kugarchinsky (32.8 centner/ha) districts.
Ilshat Fazrakhmanov called productivity the most important condition for a successful harvesting campaign, in order to harvest with minimal losses, it is necessary to harvest about 100 thousand hectares of crops per day, for this it is important for municipalities to take prompt measures to involve the entire fleet of combine harvesters in threshing.
