The Mariinsky hospital will be redesigned for the second time to receive patients with CORONAVIRUS, Fontanka reports.

“The Mariinsky hospital in St. Petersburg from June 17 is completely transferred to the coronavirus. Only one building will remain “clean,” the message says.

The medical institution, designed for 1050 beds, was redesigned back from the hospital for patients with covid-19 only in February of this year.

On May 21, a temporary hospital in the Lenexpo exhibition complex was reopened in St. Petersburg. In the fifth pavilion, a department with 90 standard beds and eight intensive care units was opened. it was clarified that the number of beds, if necessary, could be increased to 295.
