The number of deaths from coronavirus in the world exceeded 4.5 million people

The total number of deaths from covid-19 in the world was 4,500,596 people, according to estimates from Johns Hopkins University.

Most of the deaths were recorded in the United States  - more than 637.5 thousand people. In second place is Brazil, where more than 579.3 thousand people died from the CORONAVIRUS. Then India with 437.8 thousand dead.

The number of people infected with coronavirus in the world exceeded 216.3 million patients. In addition, more than 5.19 billion doses of the vaccine have been administered, according to the university's website.

In early August, the Director-General of the World HEALTH Organization (WHO), Tedros Ghebreyesus, said that at the current rate of spread of COVID-19, the number of infected people could exceed 300 million people in early 2022. According to him, the real number of cases far exceeds the official WHO data.
