Bashkiria will receive another 206.7 million rubles to provide free medicines for outpatients with COVID-19 . Funds will be allocated from the country's reserve fund. In total, an additional 11 billion rubles were distributed among the subjects, the corresponding order was signed by the head of the Cabinet of Ministers, Mikhail Mishustin.

Moscow will receive the largest funding - 2.1 billion rubles. 536.7 million rubles will be sent to the Samara region, 516.7 million to the Sverdlovsk region. The smallest amounts are provided for Baikonur (376 thousand rubles), Nenets (669 thousand) and Chukotka (4.4 million) autonomous regions.

Mikhail Mishustin announced the decision to allocate additional funding at a meeting of the coordinating council to combat the spread of infection on November 1. Medicines will be provided to 1.8 million patients with COVID-19. Medicines will be provided free of charge.

As RBC Ufa reported, earlier Bashkiria was allocated 547.2 million rubles for these purposes. The previous transfer in the amount of 134.8 million rubles was allocated in October. The largest amount - 151.9 million rubles - the republic received in November 2020.

According to the Ministry of Health, since the beginning of the pandemic, 87.5 thousand cases of COVID-19 have been registered in Bashkiria. Currently, 880 people remain in hospitals. There are 7272 patients on outpatient treatment. 76,654 people have recovered from coronavirus infection. The number of deaths from it was 2694.
