Hare: Equatorial Guinea is interested in our technologies in agriculture, industry, medicine

September 8, MINSK region. it is important for Belarus to build cooperation with African countries. Deputy Prime Minister Leonid Zayats told reporters about this, BELTA correspondent reports.

The President of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo visited the Dzerzhinsky agricultural complex as part of his official visit to Belarus . Guests were presented with an exhibition of products from Belarusian food industry enterprises, in particular MEAT, dairy, bakery and other products.

“We need to build bridges with African countries. It is gratifying that the President of Equatorial Guinea came to Belarus on an official visit. He is interested in close cooperation with our country. He is interested in advanced technologies in agriculture, industry, medicine, and education,” said Leonid Zayats.

According to him, Belarus is also interested in the African market. “This is a new continent for our country. We are starting the first steps in terms of cooperation in various areas,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

“We see that our food exhibition impressed and interested our guests. We can supply MILK powder , process it there and sell it not only in Equatorial Guinea, but throughout the entire African continent,” emphasized Leonid Zayats.

The President of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo paid an official visit to the Republic of Belarus. The central part of the visit was negotiations with the HEAD of the Belarusian state ALEXANDER LUKASHENKO. The official meeting of the heads of state and negotiations in narrow and expanded formats took place at the Palace of Independence. As a result, a package of bilateral documents was signed aimed at developing relations in a wide range of areas - from the economy to the humanitarian sphere.

This visit is a continuation of Belarus’s course to intensify cooperation with African countries and confirms mutual interest in cooperation.
