
September 25, MINSK . About 1,300 tons of elite grain seeds per year are now sold by the educational and experimental agricultural production company "Putrishki" in the Grodno region. Br1.5 million investments will increase productivity - they expect to sell 2000 tons of elite winter and spring grains. Viktor Petrushkevich, Chairman of the Board of the Putrishki SPK, told the magazine about this.
“We sell elite seeds throughout Belarus. The Russian Federation is interested, we EXPORT small volumes there. We deal with a wide range of grains. Winter wheat is in great demand: the varieties “Amelia” (new Belarusian) and the German varieties “Skagen”, “Patras”. Winter wheat triticale is also represented by three varieties: “Zhiten”, “Tadeus” and “Grodno”, the last two, by the way, are the best-selling, - Igor Klyshevich, HEAD of the seed production sector of the Putrishki educational establishment, goes into detail. - Popular Belarusian barley varieties - "Advance ", "Batka", the new one - "Cornet". Among the spring varieties of oats, the German "Erbgraf" of 1982, so far no other has been able to overtake in yield. And we also recommend "Myrtle".The workers of the agricultural enterprise greeted “Dazhynki” 2023 with dignity - 11,412 tons of grain were collected from the fields with a yield of 96.6 c/ha. Last year, grain yield was 90.8 c/ha. The structure of the area on the farm has been verified and will not undergo any changes in the future. Preference is given to winter crops - wheat (70% of the area), rapeseed, triticale, barley, rye.
In total, the agricultural enterprise houses 3,800 head of cattle on three farms . Of these, 1215 are milking herds. “In terms of MILK sales per 100 hectares of farmland, our farm is in sixth place in the Grodno region. We milk 29.55 kg of milk per cow per day and according to this indicator we are in fifth place in the Grodno region,” Viktor Petrushkevich guides the results of the livestock industry.
There are plans for development in this area - the construction of a new calf barn in the village of Zabolot, which should begin in 2024. Br2.5 million will be allocated from the farm budget for its construction.
