JSC "Gastellovskoye" is a well-known agricultural enterprise in the suburbs of Minsk. Small in terms of area (up to 4 thousand hectares of farmland, with 93% plowed land), but in terms of milk yield, weight gain, yield, it has been among the best in the country for many years. Is it difficult to keep shots, being a kilometer from the metropolitan Zelenoluzhskaya metro line, the newspaper found out after visiting the farm.

If the city "squeezes out" frames

- Of course, it is not easy, - Stanislav Sokolovsky, director of OAO Gastellovskoye, admits. - Therefore, we are building a 124-apartment building. A person, having come to us, should get comfortable, look around, evaluate all the advantages of working in our economy - and stay here to live and work! Under the construction, in agreement with the head of state, the territory has already been allocated. The project will be submitted for review in October. Completion of construction - the end of 2023. Each employee who has received an apartment in a new house will be able to register it as a property in 10 years. 10 years ago, the company has already built a similar apartment building. Today, its residents draw up square meters for themselves.

- But the attraction of the capital, of course, remains, people leave, - Stanislav Cheslavovich states an indisputable fact and clarifies: - Mostly low-skilled personnel: the city does not have enough cleaners, nurses ... But if a person has worked for 10 years, the apartment is his! I treat them with understanding: agriculture is hard work: get up early, go to bed late ... Good wages are not enough here. The provision of commercial housing with the right to purchase is a completely fair decision.

At present, the average salary for OAO "Gastellovskoye" is 1829 rubles.

- Considering the prices in stores, I would not say that this is too good a salary, so we are pulling it up to 2 thousand! - the head of the farm shares his plans and adds: - We must have higher than the average for Minsk, otherwise the movement of personnel towards the capital cannot be stopped!

Station wagons in price

Recently, the company completed the harvesting of grain - on time, without loss. With a yield of more than 100 kg / ha, we received 12 thousand tons of grain in granary weight. The leaders of Gastellovskoye OJSC at harvest-2022 are machine operators Valery Laptsevich, Andrey Tolyarenok, Oleg Tsarenko, Dmitry Zhodik, Andrey Leu, as well as drivers Alexei Duko, Ivan Shpak, Oleg Akulov.

“We worked hard,” says the director. - Our mechanics are generalists. Today they reap, tomorrow they plow, the day after tomorrow they cultivate and sow.

Motivation is the most important stimulus, so the company encouraged everyone who was involved in harvesting, transporting grain and straw. Each was given two days off and a bonus - from 500 to 1 thousand rubles (for machine operators and drivers - 1 thousand rubles each). If we add a monthly bonus and other payments to this, combine operators and drivers will get 4-5 thousand rubles for the last month.

– For the company and for the people, this is a small amount of money! - says Stanislav Sokolovsky. Bonus workers are the most important item of expenditure.

Philosophy of development

The director of OAO "Gastellovskoye" is aware of salaries in other farms - advanced and not very advanced. When I was in my small homeland, in the Volkovysk region, I learned from fellow countrymen that some people there earn 500-600 rubles in the countryside. What is in store for such farms? Joining strong enterprises! The director believes that this is not an option.

- You can connect one or two farms, but there will no longer be an efficient locomotive farm! Stanislav Sokolovsky is sure. - If an organization works intensively, has free financial resources and it does not have accounts payable, it develops, it has the opportunity to maneuver: encouraging people for their work, purchasing new equipment, introducing new technologies. And if there are no funds even to replace the teat rubber in the milking parlor, then what development of the economy can we talk about?

The head of JSC "Gastellovskoye" is a supporter of the development of agricultural enterprises, but for his own, earned, funds. Without the help of the state. So, recently the enterprise has grown with three farms. We bought them for debts from the 1st Minsk Poultry Farm: bulls are fattened there.

- Buying for your own is a completely different matter, - Stanislav Cheslavovich believes. - Our goal is not to expand the territories for the maintenance of which there is not enough money, but profit, net income.

By the way, with fattening at the farm, as well as with milk yield, there is order. Receiving weight gain of 1.2-1.3 kilograms, the OJSC monthly delivers 100 heads of cattle to the meat processing plant. The average daily milk yield per cow is 35 liters. Some cows of the first milking give 40–45 liters of milk, and record holders even 75 liters per day! All Gastellovskoye ITCs have modern milking equipment: robots milk on some farms, Yolochka and Parallel machines on others.

Feed and earn!

The farm has the highest density in the country: 152 heads per 100 ha of farmland.

– We constantly remember: it is necessary to work so that the cattle are fed, watered and well-groomed. We harvest all the fodder necessary for the herd on our fields, - emphasizes Stanislav Sokolovsky.

At the same time, milk is the most profitable topic for the enterprise. Selling up to 1.8 thousand tons per month, JSC Gastellovskoye earns up to 2 million rubles on it.

The agro-farm has long and profitably been engaged in the cultivation of food, seed and fodder grains. In 2022, having a grain wedge of 1 thousand hectares of land, farmers received 12 thousand tons of grain, 10 thousand tons of straw. Part of it will go to bedding, the second - to the diet of livestock (as roughage), the third - for sale. 18 thousand tons of haylage, 2.24 thousand tons of rapeseed seeds were harvested, which ensured the operation of the workshop for its processing for a year ahead. The rapeseed cake is fed to livestock, and the oil, through BUCE, is sold. On another thousand hectares, corn ripens, 800 hectares of which will be used for silage and 200 hectares for grain. The enterprise plans to collect at least 2,000 tons of grain corn in granary weight and 30,000 tons of silage. In the last ten days of September there will be harvesting of sugar beets, under which 250 hectares.

Hold on to Queen Anne

JSC "Gastellovskoye" has not given up on potatoes either, which have been planted on 50 hectares this year. 30% of the field is under the most popular domestic varieties "breeze" and "manifesto", the rest of the field is under the German "lily" and "Queen Anna". The presentable presentation and above average taste of "Queen Anna" gave a fantastic profitability for the villagers in 2021 - 156%. The buyer took the potatoes directly from the field. This year, the farmers intend to keep "anna" in the potato storage: the price will rise by winter!
