Kukharev and Chinese Ambassador discussed cooperation between Minsk and Chinese cities

Vladimir Kukharev and Xie Xiaoyong discussed previously signed agreements on cooperation between Minsk and the cities of the People's Republic of China. In total, the capital has signed 20 agreements, including four on twinning with the cities of Beijing, Changchun, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

The meeting also touched upon issues of joint trade and economic activities. In January-May of this year, the trade turnover between Minsk and China amounted to $730.6 million, and last year for the same period - $613.8 million. This year, China mainly exports timber, meat and edible offal of poultry, milkand condensed cream, rapeseed oil, electronic integrated circuits and microassemblies, tanned or dressed fur skins, measuring or control instruments, collections and collectibles in zoology, apparatus for measuring or controlling electrical quantities, media ready for sound recording. The main exporters are Bellesexport RUE ($9.1 million), Best Meat Company LLC ($5.7 million), Meat and Dairy Company CJSC ($5.6 million), Mobiora CJSC ($5.0 million). ) and OAO Integral - UKH Integral ($3.1 million).

From China , Minsk receives telephones, parts intended for equipment of headings, computers and their blocks, shoes with rubber soles and uppers, shoes with textile uppers, parts and accessories of motor vehicles of headings, instruments and devices used in medicine, etc.
