KGC collected over Br263 mln in state revenue for half a year

August 19, Minsk. The results of the work were summed up at an expanded meeting of the board of the State Control Committee chaired by the head Vasily Gerasimov. The meeting also outlined the tasks that need to be focused on until the end of the year. This was reported to BelTA in the department.

The close attention of the committee's employees will be directed to the adoption of preventive measures, as well as to the prevention of the negative consequences of work in the sectors of the national economy. In the foreground is the development of the regions. The heads of all regional committees of state control have a clear task - to be a strategic assistant in these processes and contribute to the achievement of long-term goals.

The primary task is to identify unused reserves for improving the efficiency of economic activity and developing the real sector of the economy, expanding the practice of providing recommendations based on the results of control and analytical measures on important and strategic issues for the country. At the meeting, issues of increasing the effectiveness of control over the implementation of the instructions of the head of state, over the work of the economy under sanctions pressure were considered.

Control over the work of the agro-industrial complex will be strengthened. In the first place - the course of the harvesting campaign and the procurement of fodder, the solution of issues of preventing the death of cattle, ensuring the loading of meat and milk processing enterprises. The KGC board paid special attention to the tasks of forming the country's stabilization funds, monitoring the state of the consumer market and prices. The issues of control over the work of the forestry industry, the completion of the elimination of the consequences of bad weather and the elimination of windbreaks were also discussed.

The situation with long-term construction throughout the country will remain under the scrutiny of supervisors. Another important area is counteracting unreasonable mediation, tax crimes (including the payment of salaries in envelopes) and the financing of destructive processes. Such offenses will be dealt with severely.

In six months, based on the results of control and analytical measures, the bodies of the State Control Committee saved, prevented the payment of state funds in the amount of Br80.8 million, collected, restored to the budget and turned into state revenues of funds and material assets in the amount of more than Br263 million.

Based on the results of checks carried out by state control bodies, 612 materials were sent to law enforcement agencies, on which 198 criminal cases were initiated. 2059 people were brought to administrative and disciplinary responsibility, 21 of them were dismissed from their positions. The Department of Financial Investigations of the committee revealed 393 crimes, including 200 classified as serious. 99 individuals and 107 legal entities were brought to administrative responsibility.

In the first half of the year, 642 information and analytical materials were sent to law enforcement and regulatory authorities, financial intelligence units of foreign states, including those on identified suspicious financial transactions. Using this information, 183 crimes were identified.
