MINSK. Belarusian ice cream will be exported through the electronic platform of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange, BUCE press secretary Roman Yaniv told BelTA.
OrshaSyrZavod, one of the leading producers of processed cheese and ice cream in Belarus, intends to
EXPORT products through the electronic B2B platform of the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange. The first orders for the sale of ice cream with a total volume of about 4 tons have already been placed in the exchange trading system. Ice cream has never been sold through BUTB before.
As representatives of the Orsha enterprise explained, the decision to use the BUCE B2B platform for the sale of ice cream, and in the future the entire range of products manufactured by OrshaSyrZavod, was due to the opportunity to gain access to foreign markets with minimal risks, as well as comprehensive marketing support from the exchange.
“Like many other
MILK processing enterprises in Belarus, we are actively promoting our products to foreign markets. So far, the main market for us is the Russian Federation, but we are certainly interested in expanding the geography of sales. By the way,
it was the possibility of export diversification that prompted us to decide use the exchange mechanism. Since this is a kind of experiment for our company, at the initial stage we will only put ice cream up for auction. To date, we have already placed orders for the sale of ice cream. We expect to test a new tool for us on this small lot and use it to find buyers in
RUSSIA. In the future, of course, we plan to sell our most popular position - processed cheeses at exchange auctions, "said the representatives of"OrshaCheeseZavod".
