Poultry meat production is growing in the Tambov region

In the Tambov region, there is a steady increase in the production of poultry meat. According to the Department of Agriculture of the Tambov Region, in January-May 2021, the region's poultry enterprises produced almost 133 thousand tons of meat, which is 3% more than last year's figures for the same period.

- The main growth was noted in the production of turkey meat - 27.7 thousand tons, which is 25 percent more than in 2020, the Department of Agriculture noted.

A positive result in the field of poultry farming is achieved through the implementation of investment projects for the construction of industrial complexes.

Thus, this year the construction of the second stage of the Tambovskaya Turkey complex was completed, and the Tokarevskaya Poultry Farm plans to put its first workshops into operation this year.
