Thus, it was established that last week two officials of the organization that carries out the state veterinary service in the FSIS "Mercury" system issued electronic veterinary accompanying documents (eVSD) for chilled beef in half carcasses and quarters in the amount of 276 kg, which was delivered for processing in kindergartens, schools and boarding schools. At the same time, VetIS did not have complete information on the results of the veterinary and sanitary examination of beef.
According to the Rules, a veterinary and sanitary examination of beef is carried out in relation to each carcass and slaughter products for the presence of pathoanatomical changes in MEAT and slaughter products in terms of organoleptic indicators (appearance, color, texture, smell, state of fat). In cattle, heads, internal organs, and carcasses are examined.
Submission to VetIS of information on the results of the veterinary and sanitary examination of regulated goods is carried out by registered users who are officials of the subjects of VetIS who have carried out a veterinary and sanitary examination of regulated goods.
Officials of the organization issued transport eVSD in the FSIS "Mercury" component for products of animal origin in violation of veterinary legislation, without providing information on the results of the veterinary and sanitary examination to VetIS.
Based on the established facts, the SBU JSC "SBBZh for the Oktyabrsky and Arkharinsky Districts" issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.
The department sent information letters about the identification to the Department of State Order of the Amur Region, the Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Amur Region and social institutions.
In total, over the past period of 2023, 19 violations were detected in the Amur Region in 14 employees of the state veterinary service when applying for an eVSD. In all cases, warnings were issued about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements.
