As it turned out, a 45-year-old resident of the regional center got behind the wheel after drinking ALCOHOL. "A medical examination showed more than 2.5 ppm of alcohol in exhaled air. This is a state of extremely severe intoxication, in which a person cannot control himself, much less drive a car," the regional traffic police explained.
The drunken maneuver resulted in a fine of 200 basic units (Br8.4 thousand) and a 5-year driving ban.
The regional State Traffic Safety Inspectorate reminded that a drunk driver is a mortal threat not only to himself, but also to those around him.
