Manufacturers who needed to improve their financial situation took advantage of this right . 2025 May 2025 The process of increasing prices for meat and dairy products and confectionery by manufacturers is under control.

The message notes that a further increase in prices for these products by more than 0.3% per month must be justified by the Commission on State Regulation of Pricing under the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus (Resolution of the Council) of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus dated June 19, 2025 No. 341).

At the same time, prices along the entire chain are taken under control: from agricultural producers to retail. Now the said Commission also needs to justify the increase in prices for raw milk, pigs, and cattle supplied for processing. Maximum markups continue to apply in retail.
