One got tired of walking and stole a bicycle, the other stole two to pawn. Both were detained

Three residents of the capital, whose bicycles had gone missing, contacted the Pervomayskoye District Department of Internal Affairs, BELTA learned from the Main Directorate of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee.

The operatives established that a 33-year-old man stole two bicycles from the entrance to the building. He pawned them for Br150, although the total cost was about Br1,000.

Another defendant, a 39-year-old Minsk resident, was returning home after meeting with friends. When he got tired of walking, he decided to ride someone else's bicycle, which was parked in the yard. He later sold it for Br100 and bought food and ALCOHOL.

Criminal cases have been opened for theft.

The police remind you: do not leave your bicycles unattended. Use reliable locks with a metal cable. Or better yet, keep your bikes in your apartment.
