The plans to build the plant became known at the international economic forum in St. Petersburg . As part of SPIEF 2021, Alexei Dyumin, HEAD of the Tula Region, and Sergey Mikhailov, CEO of Cherkizovo Group, signed a cooperation agreement. The document provides for the creation of a complex for the production and processing of poultry and pig MEAT.
Alexey Dyumin recalled that two years ago, a strategic investment agreement was signed between the Tula Region and the Cherkizovo Group on the creation of Russia's largest meat processing cluster in the Efremov priority development area. The volume of investments was estimated at 50 billion rubles. This project is currently under active implementation.
“I would like to note the systematic and responsible approach of the investor. The company made a decision to build housing in the Efremovskiy district for employees of the cluster under construction at a cost of over 1.3 billion rubles. The Government of the Tula Region will continue to provide Cherkizovo Group with comprehensive support,” Governor Alexei Dyumin emphasized at SPIEF 2023.
it should be noted that for the gasification of the facility in Efremov, 5.9 kilometers of networks will be laid for 135 million rubles. The work will be carried out on the terms of co-financing - half of the funds will be invested by the investor, half - by the region.
“On behalf of the Governor Alexei Gennadievich Dyumin, we are creating all the conditions to increase the investment attractiveness of the Tula region. Investors coming to the region, in addition to tax preferences, are given the opportunity to connect to communications,” said Anton Emelianenko, Minister of Economic Development of the Tula Region.
Recall that Efremov received the status of a priority development area (TOR) in March 2018. According to the latest data, about 11 residents are registered at the Efremov ASEZ in addition to CHERKIZOVO MEAT PRODUCTS. In terms of implementation of investment projects with a total investment of more than 53 billion rubles and the creation of more than 4 thousand new jobs.
During the operation of the Efremov ASEZ, more than seven hundred jobs have been created, more than 9.5 billion rubles of investments have been disbursed, and revenues amounted to about 5.6 billion rubles.
To attract new investors in Efremov, a register of land plots was formed: greenfield and brownfield, in parallel, constant work is being carried out with energy resource companies - Gazprom and IDGC of Center, to discuss interaction and search for the possibility of providing resources for investment projects on the ASEZ.
