Rosselkhoznadzor issues warning to agricultural enterprise in Mari El over disappearance of 96 cattle

As of November 1, 2024, there were 370 heads of cattle on this farm, but currently only 274 remain on the farm. However, no veterinary accompanying documents were provided for the movement of animals to the State Veterinary Service of the Republic of Mari El. The dates and reasons for departure, as well as information about the recipient of the animals, have not been established.

According to the requirements of the legislation in the field of veterinary medicine, mandatory execution of veterinary accompanying documents is required when transferring ownership and moving animals, and veterinary control must be carried out at the loading and arrival sites. For violations provided for by the Federal Law "On Veterinary Medicine" and relevant orders, on January 17, 2025, the enterprise was issued a warning about the inadmissibility of violating mandatory requirements. Information about the loss of animals will be transferred to law enforcement agencies for investigation.
