Rosselkhoznadzor monitored the movement of almost 2,000 tons of livestock cargo across the state border in the Saratov region

Together with the Border Department of the FSB and the Saratov Customs, more than 1,900 tons of various goods were checked, including milk and dairy products, meat and meat products, fish and seafood. During the specified period, seven violations of veterinary legislation were identified during the cross-border movement of these goods. As a result of the check, 19 tons of condensed milk and 122 kg of honey, which did not have veterinary certificates, were stopped, and the export of 166 heads of cattle was prevented . In one case, the carrier violated the agreed route, and in the remaining cases, errors in veterinary documents were found. All violated cargo was returned to the place of departure in accordance with established requirements.
