Rospotrebnadzor assessed the danger of eating meat infected with African swine fever

Such products should be excluded from the diet. However, people do not get African swine fever, so it is safe to eat infected MEAT, said Vadim Pokrovsky, HEAD of the department of the Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, in an interview with the radio station "Moscow speaking".

According to him, measures will be taken in RUSSIA so that such a product does not end up on store shelves, because the meat can get to other animals, including pigs in different regions of the Russian Federation.
