Roskoshestvo examined empanadas from 20 manufacturers

The TOP 5 included meat pancakes under the trademarks “Siberian Collection” (5 points), Globus (4.86 points), “U Palycha” (4.8 points), “Okraina” (4.66 points) and Handy Craft (4.21 points). 

The product from Shchelkovsky MPK LLC from the Siberian Collection line meets not only the requirements of the law, but also the advanced standard of Roskachestvo, experts note.

The meat filling was tested for microbiological indicators, for the presence of DNA from beef, pork, poultry and soy, as well as mechanically separated meat, plant and animal proteins; GMOs and phosphates. 

In the filling of pancakes under six brands, the amount of mesophilic aerobic and facultative anaerobic microorganisms (KMAFAnM) did not exceed the established standards. We are talking about products under the brands “Auchan”, “VkusVill”, “Lenta”, “Morozko”, “Ot Ilyina”, “Tula Products from the Pushkarev Brothers Artel”. In four samples, traces of antibiotics were found that did not exceed the standards.

“VkusVill”, “Ot Ilyina” and “Morozko” were found in pancakes with meatbacteria of the Escherichia coli group, and in products under the Tsarskoye Podvorye brand - enterococci. The violators did not receive ratings and ended up in the anti-rating.
