In November of this year, HR employees at a company in the capital reported the incident to the police. The basis for this was sick leave certificates presented by a cleaning specialist at his workplace.
To establish the truth in the case,Law enforcement officers seized the documents and sent them to the Frunzensky District Department of the State Forensic Examination Committee (Minsk) for a forensic technical examination of the documents (document details).
The forensic expert determined that technical changes had been made to the sick leave certificates provided. The Minsk resident crossed out the original text—"Alcohol intoxication"—with a ballpoint pen, located in the "special notes" line under the entry "Injury dated October 2, 2025."
Thus, the 46-year-old Minsk resident decided to conceal the fact that he had sustained an injury while in a state ofAlcohol intoxication .
The Frunzensky District Department of the Investigative Committee of Minsk has opened a criminal case under Article 380 of the Criminal Code.
