The Reftinskaya poultry farm won the Xth Hi-Tech Championship

The championships organized in Yekaterinburg as part of the national project “Labor Productivity” took place last week, November 13–17. About 1,000 participants competed in 35 skills.

According to the managing director of the Ural Agro-Industrial Group (UAG) Irina Makarova, the victory of Reftinskaya is of great importance, comparable to gold for participants in the Olympiads. The company, which has overcome many difficulties, has proven that the team employs the best specialists in poultry farming.

The tournament participants were given the task of reorganizing the activities of the broiler carcass cutting section to increase productivity from 35 to 50 tons per day with the least investment, without increasing operating costs and maintaining high quality.

Irina Makarova noted that this kind of reconfiguration of processes is nothing more than highly intellectual work that requires professionalism, experience and innovative thinking. Standard schemes are not always effective.

In 2020, the Reftinskaya Poultry Farm joined the Labor Productivity project launched by the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. The implementation of lean manufacturing tools reduced equipment and employee downtime by four times, and process duration by 28%. Productivity per employee increased 2.5 times. The need for overtime work has been eliminated.
