Rapid tests PIONER 5 in 1 for the determination of sulfonamides, tylosin, tilmicosin, lincomycin, erythromycin, fluoroquinolonesKirill Kuznetsov, a student at the Institute of Economics and Management of the Agro-Industrial Complex, is developing a software module for monitoring sanitary gaps at pig farms and integrating it with an access control and management system under the supervision of Marina Stepantsevich. This project will help improve biosecurity at pig farms, reduce the risk of African swine fever outbreaks, automate sanitary gap monitoring processes, and ultimately reduce financial risks.
The project received financial support from the Foundation for Assistance to Small Innovative Enterprises (FASIE) through the Student Startup program in the amount of 1 million rubles. Thanks to the IT center, the developers have access to modern equipment and the opportunity to find partners to implement the project.
Kirill Kuznetsov noted that the availability of modern tools for training and developing computer skills makes the IT center an ideal place for students engaged in research in the fieldit and technologies.
Bato Ochirov, a student majoring in Applied Economics, praised the institute as a modern and ergonomic workspace equipped with high-performance workstations. The opening of the digital hub has inspired him and his classmates to actively participate in scientific and applied IT projects.
Bato Ochirov is participating in a Russian Science Foundation project on methods for assessing the efficiency of productive soil moisture use using irrigated and non-irrigated soybean crops. His supervisor is Olga Ermolaeva.
The Laboratory of Geoinformation Systems and Remote Sensing is processing data for this project, collected in the field using various measuring equipment, including UAV imaging equipment, as well as information from open databases of satellite imagery. The goal of the study is to efficiently use water resources in regions with developed irrigated agriculture.
