Representatives of the Bryansk Testing Laboratory took part in interregional exercises to eliminate a conditional focus of avian influenza

The exercises involved the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of RUSSIA, regional and regional structures, veterinary services, as well as the administration of the municipality.

The main task of the exercise was to develop the skills of operational interaction between specialists from veterinary services and departments to eliminate especially dangerous animal diseases. In this event, the emphasis was placed on the elimination of the focus of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI), which is due to the trend towards the spread of the disease in the Russian Federation. 

During the exercises, a wide range of priority measures were worked out, carried out upon detection of a suspected outbreak of avian influenza. The actions of veterinarians in taking pathological samples, cleaning premises, vehicles, burning and burying corpses, as well as other activities stipulated by the requirements of the veterinary legislation of the Russian Federation, were demonstrated.

The conducted interregional exercises confirmed the readiness of the federal and regional authorities to immediately implement a set of measures to prevent the spread, localize and eliminate the source of infection in the event of its occurrence.
