Canned meat is planned to be produced again in Aginsky district

Aginsky MEAT Processing Plant plans to restore the production of canned meat this year. This was reported on January 20 on the official portal of the Trans-Baikal Territory with reference to the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the region Alexander Tyukavkin.

- At present, the premises for canning production have been repaired at the meat processing plant. The equipment was purchased and delivered, the purchased equipment was installed, and a trial batch of products was produced on the meat preservation line. When reaching full capacity, the enterprise will be able to produce up to 40,000 cans of stew every month,” the deputy minister said.

The report says that the staff list provides for the creation of 13 new jobs. Today, the Aginsky Meat Processing Plant has all the necessary infrastructure: electricity, water supply and sewerage.

The opening of the cannery is scheduled for the first quarter of this year.
