ABH Miratorg, Russia's leading agro-industrial holding, has upgraded the ash-washing and tanning sections of a tannery as part of a cattle slaughtering and processing complex in the Bryansk region. Thanks to the modernization, the plant will increase output by 35% to 135,000 m2 of shoe, belt and lining crust per month. The company invested 117 million rubles in the installation of new equipment.
The expansion of capacities is connected with the development of the plant's sales network. Two additional drums at the soaking-ash section and two at the tanning section will increase the capacity of the soaking-ashing and tanning processes and will allow to produce 35,000 m2 more products per month. The modernization made it possible to create 44 new jobs and increase the number of employees of the plant to 389 people.
The tannery of APH Miratorg is the most modern in RUSSIA. To create an unparalleled production facility and equip it with equipment from industry leaders, the company has invested more than 3.5 billion rubles.
The main distinguishing feature of the plant is the production of products from its own steam raw materials, which come from the adjacent site of the MEAT processing complex. In addition to steam raw materials, the plant can also process wet-salted skins. The processing capacity is 100 skins per hour, and the average weight of a raw material unit is 30-40 kg.
A special advantage of the products is their environmental "transparency" and safety due to the organization of production on the principle "from field to counter".
In 2020, the plant passed iso 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 140001 certifications, and in 2022, the only one in Russia received the highest global rating from the international organization Leather Working Group (LWG), responsible for the world's leading environmental certification for the leather industry.
