A new beef production project in Ozersk: The Kaliningrad region is taking a step toward developing local livestock farming.

According to Kaliningrad Region Governor Alexey Besprozvannykh, the project has already been launched. The first 45 Galloway cows, renowned for their high-quality MEAT, have been delivered to Ozersk. Plans call for increasing the number of animals to 250, which will not only supply the local market but also create opportunities for EXPORT.

Breeding Galloway cattle is already proving successful in the region, where a farm near Zelenogradsk produces meat products. The new project is expected to have a positive impact on the economy of the Ozersky District, creating additional jobs and facilitating the development of related industries, such as meat processing.

The project's success was also based on a grant received from regional authorities for the purchase of breeding cows, which marked the beginning of successful breeding in the region. Thus, the new beef production project will not only supply the local market with high-quality meat but also stimulate the further development of agriculture in the region.
