Kurgan: beef sausages and sausage turned out to be fake

The press service of the Department of ROSSELKHOZNADZOR for the Chelyabinsk and Kurgan regions reports the identification of deliberately false information when issuing electronic veterinary accompanying documents (eVSD) for the products of one of the MEAT processing shops in Kurgan. 

When analyzing the data reflected in the FSIS "Mercury", the monitoring group found that the authorized person of the workshop committed deliberate violations when issuing certificates for batches of "Beef" sausages and "Beef" sausages, issued on May 17, 2022. 

According to the documents, the products were manufactured in accordance with GOST. The weight of both parties, intended for delivery to social institutions, was 200 kilograms each.   

Based on the volume of raw materials used, the share of beef in the composition of sausages slightly exceeded 1% (4.46 kilograms). In fact, other types of meat were used in their production: chicken, buffalo and lamb.

Registration of an authorized person in FSIS "Mercury" has been cancelled.
