LLC "Diveevskoye" has completed the construction of a dairy complex for 1 thousand 328 heads of cattle (cattle) in the Ardatovsky district of the Nizhny Novgorod region, the press service of the governor and the government of the region reports.

The volume of investments amounted to more than 400 million rubles, up to 50% of this amount to the economy will be reimbursed from the budget under the state program "Development of the agro-industrial complex of the Nizhny Novgorod region."

"We plan to put the complex into operation in the near future. We have already purchased 512 heads of dairy cows, we are waiting for them to enter the farm, we will transfer the rest of the animals from the old farm. The commissioning of the facility will allow us to increase milk production from 12 tons to 30 tons per day. According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Region, in the first half of 2021, Nizhny Novgorod agricultural producers produced 298.8 thousand tons of milk, which is 1.4% more than the corresponding period in 2020. Currently, the region has achieved self-sufficiency in milk and dairy products of its own production by 80%.

Since the beginning of 2021, the construction of seven dairy farms has already been completed, two have been reconstructed.
