For example, the cost of chicken MEAT increased fourfold, amounting to 227 rubles per kilogram, compared to 57 rubles in 2001. The price of a dozen eggs jumped sixfold - from 19 to 117 rubles. A dozen of butter became one of the most expensive goods, having increased in price more than 17 times: from 14 rubles per 200 grams to 244 rubles. At the same time, sunflower oil increased in price by 4.5%, rising from 33 to 149 rubles.
Prices for MILK , frozen fish and beef have also followed the general inflation trend, increasing by about eight times. Experts explained that the main causes of inflation in recent years have been operations with the National Welfare Fund.
