The country must therefore declare itself free of avian influenza according to the World Organization for Animal Health (WHO). The announcement was made by Luis Rua, Minister of Trade and International Relations of the Ministry of Agriculture (MAPA), on Tuesday (17) for the g1.

According to him, the statement will also be extended to all countries importing Brazilian poultry . It is also expected that countries that have suspended purchases will lift or ease the embargo.
