
An important factor in sales growth was the increase in the number of consumers as a result of the entry of new regions into the Russian Federation. Another important prerequisite was the shift in the supply of sausages and deli meats to a lower price segment, which was facilitated by the active development of the hard discounter format in retail.
There was a redistribution of the flow of visitors from traditional chain retail formats to low-price supermarkets. In addition to long-standing and stably operating discounters (Svetofor - Mayak, Dobrotsen, Pobeda), in 2023 the projects Chizhik (X5 Group) and My Price (Tander) developed at a high pace.
Thus, the supply of sausage products at low prices increased, which stimulated sales growth.
