The accident occurred in the Partizansky district of the capital on January 1. At 9:30 p.m., employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were informed about the injured man. His clothes caught fire while he was in the kitchen. The Minsk resident was examined by doctors and hospitalized in the city clinical emergency hospital. The victim was diagnosed with a thermal burn of the body of the 2nd degree (52%), thermal inhalation injury, and ALCOHOL intoxication.

Experts are investigating the cause of the incident.
