March 16, Ulaanbaatar. On March 16, Foreign Minister of Belarus Sergei Aleynik, during an official visit to Mongolia, visited production facilities and enterprises in Ulaanbaatar, and also held meetings with business circles, BELTA reports.



In continuation of the negotiations that took place the day before with the leadership of the country and government, Sergei Aleynik held a meeting in Ulaanbaatar with the HEAD of the State Agency for Emergency Situations of Mongolia, Gombojavyn Ariunbuyan. Using the example of one of the delegation’s fire departments, the work of Belarusian firefighting equipment serving in Mongolian emergency response units
was demonstrated . Representatives of Belarusian enterprises, in turn, spoke about production capabilities and new types of equipment. According to the head of the State Agency for Emergency Situations of Mongolia, thanks to the work of Belarusian equipment, more than 13 thousand people have already been saved and property damage amounting to over $20 million has been prevented. The parties emphasized the positive experience of cooperation in the supply of equipment for the needs of the State Emergency Service of Mongolia and discussed four areas of promising cooperation. The Mongolian side confirmed its interest in purchasing special fire equipment from POZHSNAB LLC on the chassis of MAZ OJSC, as well as other equipment and special clothing. Interest was shown in continuing training programs for Mongolian specialists on the basis of specialized Belarusian institutions. Discussion of bilateral projects and opportunities for further interaction continued at various production facilities. The Belarusian delegation, in particular, visited the largest plant for the production of dairy, carbonated and alcoholic drinks of the APU company. As Sergei Aleinik was told, they use Belarusian MILK powder for the production of dairy products and Belarusian malt for the production of beer. The minister also visited the Evseg cashmere factory. The management of the enterprise expressed interest in cooperation, including the supply of its products to Belarus . On the same day, Sergei Aleynik held negotiations with the Mongolian state Agricultural Corporation. The parties discussed the supply of breeding stock, milking equipment, as well as the construction of dairy production facilities for the needs of Mongolian farmers. During the negotiations, the MINSK Tractor Plant signed a roadmap with the Ministry of Agriculture and Light Industry of Mongolia to organize the supply of tractors with a capacity of 80-350 hp. and plows. The document reflects the supply plan for 2024-2025 with the prospect of developing cooperation until 2027.








Meetings were also held with the General DIRECTOR of the company "UMM" (dealer of OJSC "BELAZ" in Mongolia) - Honorary Consul of Belarus in Mongolia Leonid Slobodsky and the management of the company that operates Belarusian dump trucks.
