May 3, Grodno. A car repairman from Grodno stole a car that had been handed over for repairs in order to go buy ALCOHOL. BELTA was informed about this by the Internal Affairs Directorate of the Grodno Regional Executive Committee.

As the police said, in early April, a 26-year-old Grodno resident gave his Audi A4 car for repairs. One day the auto mechanic used alcohol , a 36-year-old man decided to go get more alcohol in someone else’s car. So he got to one of the stores in Grodno, where the owner accidentally saw the car, who reported it to the police.

The actions of the suspect were classified by the Grodno interdistrict department of the Investigative Committee under the article “Theft”. The man faces up to three years in prison.
