Harvesting started in the Belgorod region

To date, threshing has begun in most municipalities: Alekseevsky, Belgorod, Borisovsky, Valuysky, Veydelevsky, Ivnyansky, Korochansky, Krasnensky, Krasnogvardeysky, Krasnoyaruzhsky, Rakityansky, Rovensky, Shebekinsky and Yakovlevsky.
This year, Belgorod farmers will have to harvest almost 640,000 hectares of grain and legumes and 550,000 hectares of industrial crops.
According to operational data, as of July 19, 5.2 thousand hectares have been harvested, which is about 1% of the total area under grain and leguminous crops. The average yield is 54.7 q/ha.
To date, 28.5 thousand tons of grain have been threshed.
