pionerprodukt.by continues to publish a series of videos from AgroExpedition "Agriculture of the Volgograd Region".
Alexey Chichev, an entrepreneur from the Volgograd region, has been processing vegetables for 12 years. The assortment is represented by the widest - more than 120 items of various pickles, which are produced on an area of 1000 sq.m. About 400 tons of finished products are produced per year. The staff of the enterprise is about 40 people.

At the time of filming, Alexei acquired the territory of the former state farm "Volgodonskoy No. 2", from which only ruins remained. At the same time, the name of the state farm at one time thundered all over the world, so many people worked there that a whole village grew up near its walls. With the collapse of the state farm and the village began to decline, people began to leave due to lack of work. All in all, a pitiful sight. Therefore, Alexey set himself the task of preserving the village and reviving the state farm, adapting it to his needs.

At the first stage, vegetable processing will be transferred from the city, as well as the family will move. At the time of the release of the video, this stage is completed. At the second stage, there will be the restoration of farming in the main areas: sheep breeding, cattle, poultry farming, and gardening. Over the next three years, about 50 jobs will be created only in processing, not to mention other areas of the enterprise.

In addition to the actual pickling shops, Alexey has a number of points of sale: three large stores, a large warehouse.

Molokan cabbage is cooked without chemicals in oak barrels for about 4 months, and most importantly, the cabbage is removed only after the first frost.

The work schedule of the farm is quite tight, starting from May, the preparation of containers and equipment has been going on. In June there is a short rest, but since July there has been salting non-stop, first cucumbers and zucchini, in August tomatoes and eggplants, etc.. The peak of salting comes in September, this is the month when the main crops of vegetables are harvested.
