Production capacities and a large raw material base of agricultural regions make it possible to provide food not only to the population of our country, but also to EXPORT products.
The Lipetsk Region is consistently among the top three Russian leaders in the production of greenhouse vegetables, SUGAR, MEAT, dairy and fruit and vegetable products for baby food, as well as drinking water and drinks for baby food, frozen and processed potatoes, rapeseed oil, and yeast. Based on the results of the first four months of this year, the region's agro-industrial complex enterprises continue to work and develop, ensuring the food security of the region and the country. Significant growth is observed in many indicators, including those positions in which the region is among the best in the country. Thus, rapeseed oil was produced 2.7 times more than in the same period last year. In general, the production of all vegetable oils in January-April 2022 increased by 45%. Grew up in 2 2 times the production of modified and unmodified starches. By 19 and 5%, respectively, more meat and dairy products for baby food were received, by 14.5% - more processed and canned potatoes. Dairy production on the rise: 11% more liquid processed MILK produced, includingmilk for baby food, 19.5% more dairy products, 29% more cheese. The production of fruit and vegetable nectars increased by 6%, FLOUR - by 12%, finished fish and caviar, as well as soft drinks - by 16%. Malt received by 39% more than a year earlier.
“Today, food and processing enterprises of the region operate as usual, providing both themselves and other regions of the country with the necessary food products,” said Oleg Dolgikh, HEAD of the agriculture department. “We also continue to fulfill our export obligations to our foreign partners.”
