For the period from March 26 to April 1, 2022, the World Organization for Animal HEALTH (OIE) received reports of the registration of 366 foci of especially dangerous diseases from 32 countries of the world. The corresponding notifications were published on the official website of the OIE.

An outbreak of avian mycoplasmosis caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum has been reported in Singapore (1) for the first time since 1986.

African swine fever continues to be reported in Hungary (16), Italy (6), Latvia (20), Romania (14), North Macedonia (1), Thailand (2), SOUTH KOREA (15), Zambia (2) and South Africa ( 6).

Cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza reported by Albania (4), Belgium (2), Bulgaria (1), Germany (39), Greece (1), United Kingdom (11), Ireland (1), Spain (5), Romania (1) , Finland (2), France (135), Sweden (2), Nepal (5), Taiwan (5), Philippines (4), South Korea (21), Japan (1), South Africa (2) and CANADA (3 ). The infection was noted in the population of wild, zoo and farm birds. In most cases, highly pathogenic avian influenza virus type H5N1 was identified, and H5N8 was also detected in Albania and H5N2 in Taiwan.

In Cambodia (1), a new outbreak of infectious nodular dermatitis has been reported. Classic swine fever in Japan (1). Distemper of small ruminants has been identified in Morocco (2). In Melilla (1) a stray dog ​​has rabies. Japanese encephalitis has been reported in the Australian pig population (14).

In Israel (9), new foot-and-mouth disease foci caused by type O virus were registered. In South Africa (9), the disease was caused by serotypes SAT-2 and SAT-3.
