The head of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Saratov region got acquainted with the preparations for the spring sowing

Deputy Chairman of the Regional Government - Minister of Agriculture of the region Roman Kovalsky, Minister of Natural Resources and Ecology of the region Konstantin Doronin, branch deputies of the Minister of Agriculture of the region and specialists from the Ministry of Agriculture visited the Voskresensky municipal district, where they discussed issues relevant to departments.
This year, it is planned to produce 31.6 thousand tons of grain and leguminous crops, 19.5 thousand tons of sunflower oil seeds, 2.7 thousand tons of potatoes, 3.6 thousand tons of vegetables and 0.26 thousand tons of melons in the region. crops, put into circulation 450 hectares of agricultural land. 178 machine operators will be involved in spring field work.
In the livestock sector of the district, there are currently five enterprises of the organized sector and more than a thousand private farms, peasant (farm) enterprises participate in the Beginner Farmer program. The food industry of the district is represented by a company producing drinking water and micro-enterprises producing bread and vegetable oil.
The participants of the meeting, which was held in the administration of the Resurrection District, discussed the use of land resources, the participation of enterprises and the economy of the region in state programs and the implementation of the activities of the national project "Ecology", the revival and development of horticultural complexes on an industrial scale, which is especially important in the context of import substitution, preparations for the upcoming sowing campaign.
On the eve of spring field work in 2023, Roman Kovalsky personally analyzed the survival rate and quality of winter crops, noting that they are in a satisfactory condition.
