
Vegetable farms in the Tomsk region are conducting selective harvesting for sale to the public.
Heads of the Department of Social and Economic Development of Rural Affairs of the Tomsk region conducted a monitoring of vegetable farms in the Tomsk district.
Harvesting is underway at Denis Kolpakov's peasant farm and Zorkaltsevskaya Agrofirm LLC, where potato harvesting has begun . Kolpakov's peasant farm has harvested 20 hectares, with a gross yield of 500 tons. Zorkaltsevskaya Agrofirm has harvested 45 hectares, with a yield of 1,200 tons. A total of 67 hectares of potatoes have been harvested to date, with a gross yield of 1,766 tons and a yield of 263.5 centners per hectare.
Selective cabbage harvesting has begun at EKH LLC, Zarechnoye LLC, and Zorkaltsevskaya Agrofirm. The enterprises harvested 245 tons from 6 hectares, with an average yield of 408.3 centners per hectare.
Zarechnoye LLC has launched the beet harvest. The first beet harvest was collected from 0.5 hectares, with a gross yield of 20 tons and a yield of 400 centners per hectare.
Tomsky Garlic has completed harvesting the "king of spices," having harvested 5 tons of produce from 1 hectare. The harvesting
of grain and leguminous crops continues in the region : 39,280 hectares have been harvested, with a gross harvest of 113,785 tons of grain and an average yield of 29 centners per hectare. A total of 27% of the grain planned has been threshed. Forage crop harvesting in the region is 78.4% complete, with 23.3 centners of forage units prepared per conventional HEAD of grain against a plan of 29.7 centners per forage unit. Sowing is underway.
Winter crops , the winter crop sowing plan is 70% complete.
Farms are preparing fallow land for next year's harvest, with 6.5% of the planned arable land cultivated.
