
Currently, the main objective of the agricultural sector in the Stavropol Krai is the successful completion of the upcoming sowing campaign, which will lay a strong foundation for the future harvest. Fertilizing winter and spring crops is essential for providing crops with essential nutrients.
"The annual fertilizer requirement is 581,700 tons, of which 335,900 tons are needed for spring field work. Approximately 50% of the required fertilizer reserves are already in stock at agricultural producers, including 103,000 tons for the first nitrogen fertilization," noted Elena Tambovtseva, First Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Stavropol Krai.
Governor Vladimir Vladimirov has tasked the agricultural sector of the Krai with preparing for the new harvest . The Ministry of Agriculture regularly informs agricultural producers about the need to stockpile high-quality mineral fertilizers.
