Water parks and entertainment venues in shopping centers will reopen in St. Petersburg

In St. Petersburg , water parks, attractions, children's playrooms and entertainment venues in shopping centers will reopen. The corresponding decree (.pdf) of Governor Alexander Beglov, which eased coronavirus restrictions, came into force on August 27.

Those establishments will return to work, 100% of whose employees have received a QR code by this day after being vaccinated with at least the first component of the COVID-19 vaccine or have had the disease in the last six months. Employees of institutions must complete the vaccination course by October 1.

The number of visitors to amusement parks and water parks will be limited to no more than one person per 12 sq. m for attractions, and for water parks - no more than one person per 10 sq. m of the area of ​​the water zone and no more than one person per 4 sq. m of space in other rooms.

Since August 27, sports and entertainment events (up to a thousand spectators) have also been allowed in the city, but events with more than 500 people must be coordinated with the regional Rospotrebnadzor. Participants in sporting events (not spectators) are also required to have a QR code. As an alternative, they are also allowed to present the results of a PCR test for the COVID-19 pathogen.

In addition, from August 27, solemn, exhibition, business and other events with the participation of more than 75 people can be held in St. Petersburg, they must be coordinated with the city committee on industrial policy, innovation and trade. All participants must have QR codes about the past illness or vaccination (until October 1, only the first dose is possible, after - the completed course).
