75 Kaliningraders were admitted to regional hospitals with coronavirus

In the Kaliningrad region on September 28, COVID-19 was detected in 336 people, 301 residents recovered, one died, 75 Kaliningraders were hospitalized. This is reported by the information center for monitoring the situation with the infection.

Since the beginning of the pandemic in the region, 186,153 people have been infected with coronavirus, 180,783 patients have recovered, and 1,967 have died. The herd immunity level is 10.2%.

As RBC Kaliningrad wrote, according to Rospotrebnadzor, 2,742 cases of coronavirus infection were registered in the region last week, which is 16.9% more than the previous week. The number of cases among the adult population increased by 23.3%, an increase was noted in all age groups over 18 years old. Kaliningraders aged 50 to 64 were the most vulnerable.

The department strongly recommends that people wear masks in transport, public places, enclosed spaces. This is especially true for the elderly and people with chronic diseases.
