Austria eases coronavirus restrictions

Austria has begun a gradual exit from the quarantine. Earlier, The Local reported on the weakening of the lockdown, citing Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz.

“As promised, gastronomy, tourism, culture and sports establishments across Austria will finally be able to open on May 19,” the chancellor said.

As of today, objects of culture, tourism, sports and catering have been opened in Austria.

Visiting public places in the state will be carried out after passing tests for CORONAVIRUS. Moreover, the validity periods for all tests are different: tests made at home are valid for only 24 hours, tests made by doctors - 48 hours, and PCR tests - three days.
